This is a basic denim skirt with buttons going up the front and two front patch pockets. The waistband sits at the natural (high) waist, or a bit below and the skirt is quite fitted.

Fabric recommendations:
100% cotton denim, medium weight (e.g., 8 oz denim).
Feel free to use denim with a bit of stretch, noting that the finished garment may fit slightly looser.
