Welcome to Indy Bindy 

Hi! I’m Aims, the founder of Indy Bindy. I’ve loved fabric and sewing for as long as I can remember. When I was two years old, my mum would make matching, frilly-bottomed outfits for me and my besties. I watched her over the years and started my own sewing journey. 

Sewing has always served different purposes in my life, from experimenting with fashion as a teen, to a social activity when I lived in the Pacific and there wasn’t much to do, as an outlet for my creative expression and a tool in my style journey. I really leaned into my sewing as a new mum well over a decade ago now as an important part of my identity that existed before mum-life. 

Little did I know that sewing would be the cornerstone for my business. That it would be the way I got to connect with and build an incredible community of sewists who also share this passion with me. 

I love nothing more than inspiring the creativity of others and I am so happy that you are here.
